Swedish or Deep Tissue Massage

I am trained & certified to perform Swedish, Deep Tissue & Sports massage modalities as well as using Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and cupping techniques.

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage, but is focused on deeper muscles.

IASTM is the use of tools to treat areas of scar tissue, soft tissue restrictions, chronic inflammation or degeneration.

Cupping is the use of cups that provide suction for myofascial decompression as the skin is drawn into the cups. It uses negative pressure to lift the muscle fibers and draw blood to the area to promote healing.
